When searching for the best beat makers, check off your product against the following factors and don't buy until you can tick them all off!

1) Going back to the quality issue, make sure that your chosen beat maker has the ability to use.wav files. This major detail ensures you retain full studio quality and if you don't have it, you will see a major difference when it comes to the final quality for your exported music file. You must be able to get a 44.1 stereo 16 bit master.wav file which means that you will not lose a shred of quality and you will be able to make.mp3 files from your original. Try to do this in the reverse order and you will get low sample rates, cut highs, no bass which all equals just plain awful! Do NOT scrimp on this feature at any costs!

2) What about bars? How many can your chosen beat maker do? A lot of the lower end software only uses ONE bar! I just can't understand why someone would go to the trouble of creating a beat making program that only uses one bar. This just means that the same bar gets repeated all the time. Not much good if you are trying to create a killer track - or any track for that matter! To really lay down a decent beat with some substance make sure your online beat maker uses at least 32 bars. That amount will really give you some options when it comes to making a proper tune like a progressive house mix for example!

3) Like I touched on above, as you get better and more skilled using your digital audio workstation, it is only natural to start to wanting some more advanced options out of it! On this, make sure your chosen beat maker program can parse and add your own sounds. This is a perfect feature to make sure your beats never start sounding old and boring and ensures that you keep your beats unique!

There are other factors of course but the three things above are really the most important when it comes to making sure your chosen beat maker has all the functionality and power you need it to have. No one wants average or crap beats and you don't want to waste your time on rubbish products that claim to do everything but in fact, do very little.
