Make Your Own Will - Without a Solicitor!

MAKE OWN RAP BEATS:

Is it really necessary to use a solicitor to make a Will? In fact there is absolutely no legal requirement for a Will to be drawn up or even witnessed by a solicitor. Indeed, you can make your own Will should you wish. However, you should really only make your own Will if it is going to be relatively straightforward.

Make Your Own Will - Without a Solicitor!

This article will tell you when you should use legal help, the options available, and how you can avoid the common mistakes you can fall into if you make your own Will.

It is generally advisable to use a solicitor to make your Will, or to have a solicitor or a professional Will Writer check a Will that you have drawn up, if you want to be absolutely certain that it will have the effect that you want. This is because it is easy to make mistakes and, if there are errors in the will, this can cause problems after your death. However, many people successfully have found that you can make your own Will perfectly satisfactorily.

Resolving any misunderstandings and, worse, disputes may well result in delays and considerable legal costs which will reduce the amount of money left to your beneficiaries.

Here are some common mistakes to avoid if you make your own Will:

• not being aware of the legal requirements needed to make a will legally valid

• failing to take into account all the money and property you have to leave in your estate

• ignoring the possibility that a beneficiary may die before the person making the Will

• ignoring the effect of marriage, a registered civil partnership, divorce or dissolution of a civil partnership on a Will

• changing the Will and making it invalid because the alterations are not signed and witnessed correctly

• ignoring the rules that exist to enable dependents to claim from the estate if they believe they are not adequately provided for. These rules mean that the provisions in the Will could be revoked.

There are some circumstances when it is particularly advisable to use a solicitor. Here are some examples:

• when you share a property with someone who is not your husband, wife or civil partner

• when you wish to make provision for a dependent who is unable to care for themselves

• when there are several family members who may dispute or make a claim on the Will. An example would be a second wife or children from a previous marriage

• whenever there is a business involved.

• when your permanent home is not in the United Kingdom

• if you are not a British citizen

• if you are permanently resident here but there are overseas properties to be considered

One tip is that you might find that your trade union, if you happen to be a member of one, offers a free will writing service. A union will often use its own solicitors to undertake this work.

There are books available which provide guidance on how to make your own Will. These can even help you to determine whether or not you should make your own Will. They might also help you to decide if any of the pre-printed Will forms that are available from stationers and charities will meet your needs.

Will writing services are also available. You should check these forms out carefully and get a recommendation if at all possible. How long have they been trading? Are they sufficiently experienced to make your Will for you? You can also use some of the on line services to make your own Will, too. Be sure that your Will is properly written, whichever route you choose.

1. One of the main obvious things you can do to becoming a rapper is to listen to a variety of artists both old and new school. Listening to artists such as Tupac, Rakim, Biggie, Eminem, Immortal Technique and KRS-One are great ways to get a feel and taste of this music. Listen to the beats and how the rapper is saying their words to the beat. You need to listen to the hooks and verses, noting any intros or outros.

2. Print out the lyrics to songs and learn how to rap the lyrics to the songs. This will allow you to get a feel for the flow of the music. The art of hip hop is being able to rap poetry to beats. This is the basic foundation for learning how to rap. You must learn the flow of rap to be successful as a rapper.

3. Learn how to rhyme. Rhyming is at the very core of hip hop lyrics and you need to be able to take any word and supply a number of words that rhyme with that word. You need to learn how to rhyme in your songs. Hip Hop is poetry and you need to connect with rhyming poetry.

4. You need to develop an understanding as to how rap songs are structured by looking at the number of verses and hooks in those songs. See if the song starts off with a hook or verse first. Is there an intro or an outro? You can imitate the structure of the songs and apply them to your own rap songs.

5. Learn how rap artists write their lyrics and imitate them. Imitate the way that rappers write their lyrics in terms of their language and rhymes. Are there any metaphors, similes or punchlines? Do the lines contain elaborate or big words? How is the tone of the lyrics?

6. Can you freestyle? Learn how to make up your own freestyle lyrics to rap beats. This will help your imagination, rhyming skills and flow. If you ever want to become good at battle rapping, you must learn how to freestyle. Just practice rapping about the things around you and employ rhyme.

Online Beat Mixers - What To Look For

MAKE OWN RAP BEATS:

These days, we can now make awesome music especially in the genre of rap, dance and hip hop right on our very own computer. Using beat making software to create sick beats and tracks is the best way to go especially if you don't have access to a full blown music producing studio. It can be tough however trying to find a program that is easy enough for beginners to use and also is powerful enough to get the job done!

Online Beat Mixers - What To Look For

Some creators of beat maker programs lean too much towards the side of newbies and beginners and as a result, there is not nearly enough features and tools. This means that they might be OK to start with but as you get better and your music production knowledge grows, your software is now no longer relevant. Don't forget too that if it is your dream to actually sell your remixed masterpieces then you need real studio sound quality to let you do this. More importantly, if you are a true music lover than you know that sound quality is something you just can't and never should sacrifice!

When searching for the best beat makers, check off your product against the following factors and don't buy until you can tick them all off!

1) Going back to the quality issue, make sure that your chosen beat maker has the ability to use.wav files. This major detail ensures you retain full studio quality and if you don't have it, you will see a major difference when it comes to the final quality for your exported music file. You must be able to get a 44.1 stereo 16 bit master.wav file which means that you will not lose a shred of quality and you will be able to make.mp3 files from your original. Try to do this in the reverse order and you will get low sample rates, cut highs, no bass which all equals just plain awful! Do NOT scrimp on this feature at any costs!

2) What about bars? How many can your chosen beat maker do? A lot of the lower end software only uses ONE bar! I just can't understand why someone would go to the trouble of creating a beat making program that only uses one bar. This just means that the same bar gets repeated all the time. Not much good if you are trying to create a killer track - or any track for that matter! To really lay down a decent beat with some substance make sure your online beat maker uses at least 32 bars. That amount will really give you some options when it comes to making a proper tune like a progressive house mix for example!

3) Like I touched on above, as you get better and more skilled using your digital audio workstation, it is only natural to start to wanting some more advanced options out of it! On this, make sure your chosen beat maker program can parse and add your own sounds. This is a perfect feature to make sure your beats never start sounding old and boring and ensures that you keep your beats unique!

There are other factors of course but the three things above are really the most important when it comes to making sure your chosen beat maker has all the functionality and power you need it to have. No one wants average or crap beats and you don't want to waste your time on rubbish products that claim to do everything but in fact, do very little.

How Hip Hop Can Change Your Life

MAKE OWN RAP BEATS:

It has been more than four decades now that we know hip-hop. It all started on the streets when few "DJs" like "DJ Herc" invented a new style of music by mixing two different tracks and making unique beats. It spread like a disease and people started loving it. The young generation of that time contributed a lot to make hip hop prominent that it is today.

How Hip Hop Can Change Your Life

It was not unusual to see a group of buddies that included male as well as female, to gather around the corner of a street, in underground car parking, clubs and parties and show their talent of creating rhythmic lyrics and beat-boxing. Rapping emerged as an essential part of rap later and it was also well received by the people. Rappers started competing with each other in social gatherings by making their own original lyrics intended to insult the competitor. This was based for fun with no harsh feelings and fights.

Hop emerged and developed in New York and later spread around the US and then around the world. It is not treated as a musical genre rather it is considered to be a culture and lifestyle. Hip-hop changed the life style of many people and it is still changing lives. It is common to see young people wearing baggy shirts and pants, long chains around their necks and wrists,

"Gelled hair" and graffiti art work around their living spaces. This is all hip-hop and this is all fun. Millions of people around the world live this culture and it realizes the fact that hop music is not just limited to music. Hop in other words means 'tension free life'.

If you like this culture there is nothing that can stop you from being attracted towards it. Few decades ago there were DJ and singers promoting it and even now there are many hip hop artists who are still attracting our attentions with their new hip hop songs. You can hear hot new hop music around you and it still is within the space and spreading. Hip hoppers like Eminent, Jay Z, Snoop "Dogg" and a lot of other famous names are keeping this culture alive.

The time has changed in these decades and people have become busier with their lives but rap is still like the old days. It is still full of energy and fun and it is still making us crazy for it.

Snoring Revenge - Improv Ideas To Have Fun With A Partner Who Snores (Part 1/2)

MAKE OWN RAP BEATS:

So a partner of yours snores! What about Improv? I know snoring can be an annoyance or even worse, a distraction to your own happiness. But let's look at some ways you can have some fun with the situation so it is not always considered a problem.

Snoring Revenge - Improv Ideas To Have Fun With A Partner Who Snores (Part 1/2)

Being able to have a light heart about any concern or difficult situation gives you back some of your personal power which is often lost in feeling helpless or stressed over an event or circumstance. Even if you are only slightly irritated by a "something", that irritation feeling is a reflection of your loss of personal sanctity. Basically, you are letting the situation be what's in control, rather than you being in control. Being able to laugh or have some fun with a problem in your life makes it seem less of a problem and enables you to have some good emotions associated with the experience each time it occurs. So instead of the snoring situation being a frustration, it can be something that makes you smile. This ability reduces the amount of stress in your life and that reduction of stress creates better health for you.

Now snoring can be a genuine concern for couples. The reduced amount of deep sleep from being awoken can lead to other concerns such as tiredness, lack of concentration, erratic emotions, and reduced effectiveness in all that you need to do. This frustration can lead to you spending a lot of your time looking for snoring remedies, snoring cures and how to stop snoring as your constant past time, rather than enjoying yourself. All this time and effort focused on "Fixing" your partners "Snoring" so you can get a good night sleep can lead to some unpleasant thoughts and emotions associated with the snoring. Finding a way to enjoy your partners snoring by having fun with it can serve two purposes. First off, it can enable you to have a pleasant or joyful moment or memory associated with the experience of your partners' snoring. And second, it can be a fun way to let your partner know about their snoring.

Snoring Back Track

In this idea you make a sound recording of your partners snoring and then use it as a beat mix or a backing track to you doing a rap or song about their snoring. Then when it's a good time to present them with the concept that their snoring is keeping you awake, you play the song.

Here is an example of a song you could try.

So "________" is your name
And you're driving me insane
Your snoring is really bad
It often makes me sad
You're snoring happens every night
It wakes me with a fright
Is there a Monster in the bed
Or just a rumble from your head.....yeah yeah

How to Write Rap Lyrics

MAKE OWN RAP BEATS:

Knowing how to write rap lyrics is a little different from writing lyrics for songs belonging to other genres. This is mainly because of the conversational and recital style of the songs. Since the word 'rap' originally meant 'read fast', rap songs are usually sung as if it was a poetry recital or a chanting of hymns. So, not everyone can tell you how to write rap lyrics.

How to Write Rap Lyrics

Unlike spoken word poetry, rapping is performed in sync with a beat. This is why writing rap lyrics can be a little difficult. Rap songs usually consist of three parts: content, flow and delivery. According to the book 'How to Rap', flow can be split into 3 parts: rhyme, rhyme schemes and rhythm or cadence.

The old school flow, which was relatively simple, was changed by artists like Rakim and Big Daddy Kane who changed the flow of rap songs. Present day rappers like Eminem have been famous for their use of complex rhyme schemes like internal rhymes, offbeat rhymes and multi-syllabic rhymes. While rhymes and rhythms dominate a rap song, you may also experiment with techniques like alliteration to know how to write rap lyrics.

Alliteration or front rhyme, as it is colloquially known, has been extensively used in tongue twisters like "She sells sea shells on the sea shore" and team names and pseudonyms like "Peter Pan" and "Kentucky Kings" for a long time now. You need to learn techniques such as using double entendres, similes and metaphors to know how to write rap lyrics.

Also, knowing to choose a subject can help you know how to write rap lyrics. While most of the rap songs are about issues like teenage pregnancy and racism, there are various other themes. For instance, 'Christian rap' refers to singing about spiritual and Christian topics where as 'Gangsta' rap is all about one's criminal and illegal past.

Rappers often tend to develop a vocabulary of their own. Rappers have always used native and international slang to make their songs sound more casual and informal. And some artists, due to their habit of including multi-level metaphors, create new words everyday.

Top Five Christmas Songs for Guitar

MAKE OWN RAP BEATS:

This versatility of the acoustic guitar has endeared this instrument to musicians around the globe. Regardless of the reason, holiday gatherings often inspire guitarists to accompany both song and dance. What more musically charged time of the year than Christmas? Guitar Christmas songs can be a central, uniting part of any Christmas gathering. And so, to celebrate the time of the year and our instrument of choice, here is a list of our five favorite Christmas songs for guitar.

Top Five Christmas Songs for Guitar

Top Five Christmas Songs for Guitar

#1 - Feliz Navidad The 1970 version of Feliz Navidad by Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Jose Feliciano became almost an overnight hit. Feliciano's version of this classic is one of the most downloaded Christmas songs of all time. The song became so popular that it has been recorded by multiple artists, each adding their own special flare. But regardless of who plays it, the song's simplicity and clear message make it a popular song that will fly straight to the heart.

#2 - Silent Night The original lyrics of Silent Night were written in German by an Austrian priest (Father Joseph Mohr) and the melody was composed by Franx Xaver Gruber. The popularity of this Christmas carol has not abated over the last 200 years. It conveys the spirit of the season without making an issue of theological beliefs, focusing on the love of a mother for her child. Almost a lullaby, it touches the heart, is simple to play, and the tune and words are recognized by many. Interestingly, the version of the melody that is sung today is rather slower than the original Gruber version which was a rather upbeat dance tune.

#3 - Winter Wonderland The song 'Winter Wonderland' was first published in 1934 and made popular by subsequent recordings by both the Andrews Sisters and Perry Como. But like so many of the Christmas favorites, Winter Wonderland has been remade by many artists over 50 years. Perhaps the best version - especially for acoustic guitar - is the 2004 version recorded by Jason Mraz, an American singer-songwriter born and raised in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Mraz achieved acclaim through his combination of styles; reggae, rock, pop, jazz, folk, hip hop, even bossa nova in order to make a truly unique sound.

#4 - Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer A novelty guitar Christmas song written by Randy Brooks and originally recorded by the Irish Rovers, this incredibly amusing, easy-to-play song is, thanks to its bone-tickling lyrics, sure to be a favorite wherever it is played.

#5 - There is a Light The power pop band We the Kings from Bradenton, Florida recorded the song "There is a Light" on their 2007 Secret Valentine Album. At once simple and touching, There is a Light brings to mind the Christmases of childhood and the excitement and expectation associated with the holiday. The allure of this song is that it conveys the spirit of Christmas without being a redundant Christmas tune that everyone has heard a million times.

While these are the top five guitar Christmas songs that we recommend for acoustic guitar, this is hardly a comprehensive list. It has barely scratched the surface of the number of great guitar Christmas songs available, but it is a place to start. We can only hope that it helps to make your holidays a little happier.

The Pros and Cons of Audio Sampling

MAKE OWN RAP BEATS:

In this article I am going to tell you what an audio sample is. I am also going to tell you some of the pro's and con's of using them.

The Pros and Cons of Audio Sampling

Let me start by explaining what a sample is. Technically a sample is any piece of sound. A drum hit, a guitar strum, a bus going down the street and every other noise you can imagine, and some you can't. These are all samples. You can use them to piece together music of your own.

However I; personally, separate sounds you have bought or recorded yourself, from what is typically thought of as sampling. Probably born from early hip-hop artists, the act of sampling is taking parts of other peoples songs and using them to construct your own. There are several reasons to do this, the most obvious is that if you have no way to make your own songs, sampling lets you get around it. Another reason is that all recordings have a unique character, depending on the instruments used, and where they were recorded. Sampling lets you get a piece of that character.

Near as I can tell, those are the pro's of sampling other peoples work. The cons of sampling; in my opinion, far outweighs the pro's. It's copyright infringement. If you want an idea of how that can cause you trouble look up Vanilla Ice, and The Verve. In the case of The Verve they had permission to use the sample, but the owner decided they had used too much.

This is why I distinguish between anything you buy, or record yourself and sampling. I just call the first loops, and anything taken from someone else's song is a sample. For obvious reasons I don't ever use samples. Unless it's something in the public domain, and even then I don't make it available for sale.

So now you know more about sampling and why you might want to do it, but really shouldn't. There is a whole world of sounds around you to explore, so why risk the potential trouble of a copyright lawsuit.

How to Make Beats Online

MAKE OWN RAP BEATS:

If you want to learn how to make beats from the tunes that go through your head, it can be easier than you might think. Once you develop the skill of taking those tunes and turning them into a great sounding recording, you will want to do it all the time. With time and practice, you will eventually be making perfect sounding beats.

How to Make Beats Online

A low cost beat making program is a good way to practice. Take the time to do it right by investing a small amount of money in a good online music sequencer. You won't have to spend much money to get a really good beat making program that is simple to use. The nice thing about having your own sequencer program is that it gives you a multitude of different sounds that can be used for converting those beats in your head to great sounding music you can listen to, share and even sell to others. Most excellent sequencer programs come with easy to follow tutorials that show you how to use the program.

One of the secrets to making your beats is to know ahead of time what style of beat you want to make, like rap instrumental, hip hop, etc. By listening to songs from another artist, you can use their formatting style and base your own beat on that. How do they format the introduction? How do they format the chorus? And so on.

Once you have created a foundation to work from you can start to put down the beat. These are steps that are pretty easy to do if you have taken the time to acquire a good sequencer program. You will want to start with your drums first because drum patterns really make the foundation of any good beat.

Do not shortcut this step. If you will take the time to get your drum pattern perfect, the other instruments and sounds will be easier to apply to your beat and you will be much happier with the end result. After the drum pattern is created just right, add your keyboard, guitar and other instruments to get the melody right. This is another area where you will appreciate that you are using a good music sequencer. It will make everything so much easier to do. Then continue to layer your sounds until you get it just right.

The last step (and one of the most important) is mixing your beat. Make sure that each track sounds the way you want it when listening to it on its own. The finished product will sound more professional after you make sure each track sounds perfect.

With a good sequencer you will be able to convert your new beat to mp3 so you can upload it to your computer. After that you can now share it via the internet and download it to your player. Getting the right software (and you don't have to spend a lot of money) will make the entire process so much easier to do. The right sequencer will have tons of sounds included and video tutorials that help you learn to make beats fast and easy.

Sound Packs

MAKE OWN RAP BEATS:

What are sound packs you ask? They are what the modern hip hop beat makers use today to create hip hop instrumentals for rap artist. Some established producers and beat makers have gone so far as to putting out their own packs for up and coming aspiring producers. They include such samples as custom drums, percussion, synth sounds, snares, and effects to put together a quality sounding hip hop beat and when you have understood the fundamentals of these software's you too can do just that. Sound packs aren't always used for just making music, they have become helpful in all sorts of audio production today but are most commonly used to create music.

Sound Packs

Anyone who uses such software's such as Fl Studio, Acid Loops, or Reason, uses the samples and drum kits contained within whatever sound kits that the aspiring beat maker has purchased or found. But software like these aren't the only types of programs who use these custom sounds. Digital instruments such as an MPC player most commonly known as the " Drum Machine " also can use these and many beat makers and producers do so. The MPC player is specifically made to be able to import samples such as the ones found in sound packs whatever the samples may be and the MPC player and the digital music production software' s are exactly what you need. Midi keyboards are also equipped to connect to these software's almost like an MPC player and when done so the keyboard can import sounds from the sound kit directly to the keys.

Sound packs can consists of whatever kind of sample of a musical instrument or sound effect. Some sound samples consist of extended samples including melodies, long base lines, or pre made drum loops. Drum and sound loops are made to get the beat makers beat off the ground and to have an easier time in manipulating the sounds to their wishes. These sound samples aren't just used by hip hop beat makers, the also can be used to create film scores, television commercial background music, and are often used by techno club beat makers. These packs are a great addition to any audio production project and are used quite often. Bottom line, sound packs are a great convenient and affordable way for aspiring beat makers and producers to create music being that not everyone can afford to go out and purchase whatever instrument they feel they need to add to their music project.

Best Beat Makers Reviewed by Professionals

MAKE OWN RAP BEATS:

There are many different types of beat makers on the market in both hardware and software formats, the type of beat maker that is right for you will depend on a number of things.

Best Beat Makers Reviewed by Professionals

Most all beat makers have their own platform for programming them, but a lot of them are a lot easier to use than you think.  Anyone can learn to make  beats in a matter of minutes, with the right beat maker. If you choose, you can get a beat maker in a matter of minutes and be making beats very quickly. Of course certain beat makers or beat machines work better depending on:

1) your style of music

2) what type of environment you will be using it in

3) what type of work flow you like creating beats in.

To make beats there is generally two main ways to do it with a beat program or drum machine beat maker. There is real time programming, and what is called Step Programming. Real time programming is when you just simply press record and hit the pads you want to sound. Every time you hit a pad the computer or whatever machine you may be using will record that hit and sound it off once the pattern loops back around. How long it takes to loop back around depends on the time signature, number of bars and tempo you have set. As the device loops back around you can continue to add as much as you like to what you have already done because the beat machine will remember every time and at what time you hit a pad.

Real time  programming is much easier to do than it sounds. Another way to program is called Step mode programming. It is a bit more harder to grasp and depending on the device you are programming your beat on,it can be a bit challenging. We have found that devices that offer the grid type of step programming seem to work the best and be the easiest to grasp and program on. Sadly, most beat makers do not offer this type of setup, but we have noticed that lately a lot of companies have started using this type of platform for programming. Roland has been using it for a long time, for as long as I can remember, and that's a long time!

Step Programming with a grid simply means you are not recording in real time, like I explained earlier, but it is done while the device is not even cycling, basically the beat machine is just sitting there while you insert what you want to play into a grid at certain points. Once you are finished inserting each instrument at the time point on the grid you choose, then you press play and you will hear what you have done. You can always go back and add to it, either with step mode or in real time, that's a good thing. But what you will be amazed with is how quickly and easy step mode becomes after using it for a little while, trust me, if you use it a bit, with in a week, you could just look at the grid, (if your device offers grid programming), and already know what the beat will sound like before ever hitting play. Trust me, this is not hard to learn.

The Mpc 2500 and 5000 offers grid mode recording and so does cubase based sequencers. Roland drum machines also offer this method, and there are a few more I am sure. Another term used for this type of recording is called step recording...which every program I have come across has, but it is implemented differently depending on the host program or type of beat making machine.

I receive a lot of questions about using free beat making software. I would not advise any one to use free beat making software unless, you are just playing around and are not serious about making music beats. Reason being, every free program I have come across is very limited in what it will or will not let you do as far as making beats. Most of them also have very limited samples and /or will not let you save your project once you have finished. The few that I have run across that are free and do let you save your products, simply lack good sound quality and just don't have that big boy appeal.

There are a ton of beat making drum machines and software beat making products that you could get for your computer. It's best to start with a program that works with your computer, if you have a computer and are low on cash. I personally prefer the hardware drum machines or beat makers by MPC, they in my opinion sound the best and come with more features that are geared toward making beats. They are pricey compared to the software programs you can get for your computer, but if you plan on doing this on a professional level, you will have spent enough money in the long run just getting your computer to sound like a MPC, before you realize it.

If you are just getting started, it is best to pick a program that is highly suggested by industry professionals, and start learning it. Although some programs start out more optimized for certain types of music, most of the well known software beat makers can be used for almost any style. Anyone who really wants to make beats can jump in and start making instrumentals in a matter of minutes.

Bottom line is anyone can do this if you really want to. Its just a matter of jumping in and getting started. So get to it!

I hope you find this information helpful cause you could be up and making beats in a matter of minutes just by choosing the right beat maker  Making music can be fun, and it all starts with what motivates you.

Underground Hip Hop Instrumentals - Becoming the Style

MAKE OWN RAP BEATS:

Looking for a sweet collection of underground hip hop instrumentals? So this means you've decided to give the proverbial "finger" to the mainstream rap world, in favor of a more creatively free outlet? Enter the underground rap world. A good choice, friend, as you now have the opportunity to spread your wings and create the music you've always wanted to create. On the other hand, let it be known now that by being an underground rapper, your chances at mainstream success slim quite a bit. Not because of your skill level, by any means, but because of your style.

Underground Hip Hop Instrumentals - Becoming the Style

And that's the crazy part. The mainstream tends to shun underground hip hop instrumentals, and the rappers flowing over them, despite the fact that the music and lyricism is much more thoughtful and intricate. The popular music field demands simplicity, and they get it over and over again.

But if you aren't down for that, forge your own path. Tons of indie labels are looking for artists like you to sign every day. So let me tell you how to get started so you can get your name out there!

1. Make more than just beats. Make an atmosphere. Underground beats focus on a much grittier, dub-like sound, using all sorts of worldly instruments to get a mood across to the listener. They are atmospheric and contain ridiculous amounts of depth. Make it so that with every repeated play, the listener finds something new.

2. Don't be afraid of experimentation, be it within your instrumentals or your lyrics! The great thing about being under the ground is that you aren't expected to rap with certain viewpoints or ideals. Stretch your creativity as far as you can! Want an Eastern Santoor as your main melody? Maybe even a Xiao flute? So what if no one even knows what those are! If you can produce an awesome sound with them, go for it! You WILL be rewarded for your originality!

3. Listen to your favorite underground artists and producers, and look for aspects of their sounds and styles that you enjoy. Work towards building your own unique style by using their works as building blocks and inspiration!

With these tips in mind, your underground hip hop instrumentals will definitely be ready to help take you to the next level: signing with an independent record label!

The Making of Hip Hop Beats

MAKE OWN RAP BEATS:

Hip Hop has been around for a long time. It uses different styles which are defined as rapping, sampling, scratching and beat-boxing. Beats for Hip-Hop can be categorized to two parts which includes the beat it produces and the vocals. The beat is the instrumental part that is used over the entire length. The items that are in Hip Hop Construction are the audio drum loops / MIDI drum patterns, bass line, orchestration (perhaps synth pads, horns and strings) and Dubs and scissors.

The Making of Hip Hop Beats

Audio drum loops / MIDI drum patterns are the core or basic structure of the song. You must use caution in what you put here. Audio drum loops are the simpliest way to optimize your song because of the opportunity to have it completely changed. If MIDI drum patterns are more complicated than audio loops, they give the best results.

Bass Lines rare on the other side complex in your beats, they are really thick and low, and usually have a sub-bass element, which is brought by filtering and compressing the sound through. When playing with bass lines, keep it simple as much as possible.

The choice or tools that would fit well together in harmony is called an orchestration. The trial and error principle applies here, so keep trying until you find the right symphony that you want.

The parts indicate that accent and character are known as the Dubs and scissors.

The second part of the beat is the song that consists of a main song that what the rap is out. The second voice is a guest vocal that can take a verse and the background vocals help make all of these. An overdubbed vocals are the most important voice that doubles can be tripled or even quadrupled, if at all, there is a need for emphasis.

To sum up, if you make a beat, you must:
1. Develop the drum beats (4-8 measures in length)
2. Add your baseline using the MIDI format
3. Incorporate the orchestration
4. Incorporate the sample
5. Effects adding - lost adding effects to your personality, where you can offer in different styles venture. Remember that this is your Beat-Man can do everything! Be your own artist.

Now you know the basics to make a beat, all you have to do is find software to a hip-hop beat that best suits your style. There are a lot of software available, all you have to do is to look. To name some, there is Fruity Loop and Audacity. To begin that Funky beat Fresh!

Hip Hop Money - Ways Teens Earn Without Rapping

MAKE OWN RAP BEATS:

Hip hop money earners. When you think of that phrase what do you think of? Young rappers, video girls and hot-shot teen producers? Maybe. But did you know many other teens and young people have found a way to earn money from this lucrative industry ... without knowing how to rap or even dance? In fact, many of these young people don't even like rap music that much

Hip Hop Money - Ways Teens Earn Without Rapping

How do they do it? They participate in the lucrative billion dollar hip hop accessories market. Until recently this has been a highly overlooked market by most people. But still it quietly grows each year along with the culture. A hand full of companies make piles of money and are perfectly happy to keep it quiet.

But many of these companies need teens and young adults to help market their products, provide insights and even take surveys to find out their likes and dislikes. After all, the middle-aged (and over) heads of these companies need hip teens to be their ears and eyes. The market for hip hop accessories include  clothing, posters,  bling jewelry, dance videos, exercise videos, ringtones, rap beats, memorabilia and much more.

The good news is all these products sell well online. This gives young people an opportunity to make money with their computer by simply creating a website and marketing the products to others.  Many of these companies offer free training, sales tools - even a website.

This opportunity comes just in  time as unemployment rates continue to climb. But many are finding hip hop accessories still sell well despite the recession. You can see that.  For example,  have you heard of any related companies laying off scores of employees like you hear other businesses doing? Of course not. Why? Because it's proven to be a recession-proof industry so far.

Teens and other young people will spend there last dollars for a hip hop related accessory. That's a fact. But I don't' have to tell you this, if you're a young person you know this.   But many smart young people have figured it out and quietly turned the tables.

Now  instead of just spending money on these accessories, they use them to make money. Many started as affiliate marketers and gone on to create their own products or accessories. Did you know most online companies will allow you to become an affiliate marketer for free. When you sell a product or item you earn a commission, simple as that. Now you know if even you can't rap, sing or dance you can still make money from the lucrative hip hop industry. You can continue to sit back and watch it make money or join it... but you can do both.

Hip Hop Legends - Snoop Dogg

MAKE OWN RAP BEATS:

The Life of Snoop Dogg

Hip Hop Legends - Snoop Dogg

The face of hip hop has been shaped and molded by so many artists. Hip hop started as just another type of music that people did not pay much attention to until the seventies and eighties, when new ideas ran rampant and people became increasingly open to new ideas.

In the 1990s, hip hop became one of the many types of music that was listened to by millions of people every day. It rose through the ranks quickly not only because the music was good, but because hip hop artists such as Snoop Dogg promoted it and made it into something that the people of the world could appreciate.

Snoop Dogg was born on October 20, 1971 as Cordozar Calvin Broadus. He was born in Long Beach, California, being the second of three sons born of his parents. When Snoop Dogg was little, his friends would call him Snoopy because he looked just like the famed Charlie Brown character with the same name.

His father was a singer and a mailman who was never around much in Snoop Dogg's life. At a very early age, he began to sing and play organ at his church, where he learned to love music. Shortly after he started singing, he began rapping and making his own beats.

Snoop never had the life of a normal child. He was delinquent a lot and convicted of many things before he even graduated from high school. He served six months after being convicted of cocaine trafficking and he spent several of his post high school years behind bars for allegedly being a member of the Crips.

Snoop paired with his two cousins, Nate Dogg and Lil ½ Dead, to create his first album, which was named after the Long Beach area code. This was picked up by Dr. Dre, who became his teacher of sorts.

After he was discovered by Dre, his career started to take off. Dre worked with Snoop Dogg to create several albums, and Snoop helped Dre by making appearances in Dr. Dre's famed Chronic album. Snoop Dogg recorded many albums and songs and came out with several freestyle raps that earned him a spot in on the top of the hip hop world. He starred in a few movies in his early career and has been making cameo appearances in several new movies also.

Snoop was appointed to an executive position in Priority Records in 2009. The position allows him to work with several other artists such as Dr. Dre and Katy Perry to create new songs and albums. Snoop's style is very well known and separates him from the rest of the rap and hip hop community. His name will forever live on in hip hop and rap legend.

Playing Live - How to Set Up Your Band With Monitors For a Killer Sound

MAKE OWN RAP BEATS:

You've got your amps, you've been practising in a garage or small rehearsal room and things sound pretty tight. Now you've got a chance to play down at the local pub/bar. How difficult could that be? Well, if you feel that all you have to do is set up and play just as you've been practising then there is a 99% chance of disaster. Many bands sound awful at their first gigs because their PA isn't sorted; they find themselves playing out of time and out of tune.

Playing Live - How to Set Up Your Band With Monitors For a Killer Sound

Why? It's monitoring - or to be precise a lack of it! Your singer will only be able to sing in tune if he can hear what he is singing. Your guitarists will only bend notes accurately if they can hear their own guitars. Bass and drums will only lock in if they can hear each other, and each of you will only know where you are in a song if you can hear the rest of the band. It's wholly different to the confines of the garage or practice space and this can really throw you all. You will be struggling to hear the overall sound and may even have trouble in properly hearing your part of it. No matter how good you all are as musicians, no matter how much you've practised, without good monitoring you will end up out of time, out of tune and wishing you'd stayed at home. When the on-stage sound is wrong, amplifying it will just tell the audience how wrong it is.

For bands of three to six people with electric guitars and bass, a drummer, a singer and possibly a keyboard, playing in small venues to audiences of less than 200 (a typical start up scenario) your amplification needs are threefold:

1) Back line - this includes your guitar and bass amps, your drummer

2) Monitors - these are on-stage speakers relaying "fold-back" - your own sound

3) PA - the front of house sound which the audience hears

Notice that 1) and 2) create your on-stage sound whilst 3) delivers the on-stage sound to the front of house. Lets take them one at a time:

Backline

You will need 30 to 50watts RMS for your guitar to match the drums. The bass will need 50 to100 watts. If you are using keyboards they will need 100 watts as a back-line instrument but if you choose to put the keyboards directly through the PA to the front of house, bear in mind that without a mixer they will be a distraction for the vocalist. Those pieces of kit which do not have a volume control - the drummer and the singer - now need to be considered. The vocals will definitely need a system that delivers over guitars, bass and drums to a room full of noise absorbing people (and audiences absorb the higher frequencies more efficiently than the lower ones), so PA's are first and foremost the province of the vocalist, but also for keyboards and, if you chose to microphone them, the drums.

Monitors

You need stage monitors so the singer can hear themselves and the rest of the band can hear the singer. A monitor is a speaker, often quite small and wedge shaped, which can be pointed at the singer without hiding him and generally raised at the front edge by a stand (or propped up by an old brick) to project better. Add more monitors so the rest of the band can hear the singer and position one of these next to the drummer. You'll need a separate power amplifier to drive the monitors although it needn't be as powerful as a PA power amp, and if you have extra acoustic instruments you will need to put these through the monitors too. Look for monitors of 100W, you can get active ones with built in amps or go for a monitor amp with separate speakers. Understand, too, that your guitar and bass amps are, on-stage, monitors. You need to set these so that you can hear yourself and the other band members, and that they can hear you as well as themselves. This is the trickiest part and when sound wars break out on stage, often a competition over being loudest, it's the audience that suffers. Don't make the mistake of turning up your amps to impress the audience as you will just be unbalancing the band's sound. In very small venues and for mainly acoustic bands, the monitors can be angled to spill sound to the audience.

You now have control and balance issues to consider. Decision one: either you balance the back line to the drummer or you microphone the drums and balance through the PA. There are compromises possible when playing small venues where it may be effective to simply microphone the kick drum.

PA

To the singer, the PA is what an amplifier is to a guitarist, but it's much more besides. What goes to the PA goes through a mixer. These days a mixing desk capable of handling the whole band can be picked up for the price of a low mid-range guitar. Given that many venues, even smaller ones, now have their own PA systems, including a mixing desk, you will need to come to terms with these either way. At the basic level if you only have vocals going through the PA you will only need 100W per channel and a couple of full range speakers with stands. The speakers will have a ten, twelve or fifteen inch bass speaker and a horn to handle the high notes. You'll need to raise the horns above the audience or the people at the front will absorb all of the treble and the rest of the room will get mush. This is why most PA systems feature stands, so use them! Make sure the cabinets are well to the front of the vocalist or your back-line sound could overpower the vocal mike and set up a howling feedback loop. If you've got your on-stage sound right then you won't get this problem from the back-line but if you do then you now know the answer. Turn down the back-line!
